My name is Dawn Talley. I have been married for 14 years. I have a daughter and 2 step children and 3 grandsons, I am a Boy Gigi.  

I have lived in Friendswood, Texas most of my life and I am a graduate of Friendswood High School.

I have been crafting most of my life starting with ceramics. I love working with my hands and creating anything that makes someone smile. My grandmother and my mom is who I received my crafting talent from. My goal one day is to complete a quilt like my grandma did. I have such beautiful handmade quilts that she made me. One of them is almost 50 years old. 

I am named after my Grandma “Lucille” hence the Lucy D’s Designs. Also, my husband was the first person to give me the nickname Lucy D.
